Speakers

MSWD provides speakers that address a wide range of topics, including but not limited to conservation, groundwater protection, customer service, drought, water quality, and emergency preparedness. Presentations are available to schools and special interest groups such as service clubs, homeowner’s associations, historical societies, or other groups depending upon staff availability.

Events

The District attends and provides literature at a variety of community events. Please contact us if you have an upcoming event and would like the District to set up a table or booth.

Tours

Curious how a wastewater treatment plant operates? MSWD offers tours of our wastewater facilities to schools and special interest groups. We’ve also partnered with The Wildlands Conservancy to provide school tours of the Mission Creek preserve, highlighting groundwater protection.

All tours must be pre-scheduled and are limited to groups.

Please contact the Public Affairs Team for more information about classes, speakers, tours, or events. We will make every effort to participate; however, staff time is limited, so the more advance notice you can give, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your request.
