MSWD Hosts Utility Assistance Clinics

On-Site Program Enrollment and Community Resources Available   

Connecting customers with community resources, Mission Springs Water District is pleased to offer on-site utility assistance clinics in the MSWD Boardroom on May 22 between 9 a.m. and noon and June 8 between 1-4 p.m.

Representatives from Riverside County Community Action Partnership, the United Way, FoodNow, and Desert Valley Disposal will be in attendance for on-site program sign-ups and to provide community resources and support.

Some programs available to customers, including the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program, allow customers to qualify for as much as $2,000 in financial support for unpaid water or wastewater service.

Other programs, administered by United Way and FoodNow, offer additional programs and support.

It is recommended that customers bring the following Items:

  • Current Electric Bill (all pages)
  • Gas/Propane Bill (all pages)
  • Water Bill
  • SSA/SSI Award letter (2023 or current)
  • Bank Statement
  • Pension/ VA Disability Letter
  • Notice of Action or Passport to Services
  • Last four weeks of income for the household (pay stubs)
  • Birth Certificate/Passport/Resident Card
  • Social Security Card (if you have one)
  • ID/Driver License
