Mission Springs Water District (MSWD) is currently accepting applications for a temporary Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator-in-Training (OIT).
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to break into the water/wastewater industry. The OIT will receive training while they pursue their Grade 1 wastewater TPO certification, which is a State required certification for those working in the industry.
In addition, our state-of- the-art Regional Water Reclamation Facility (https://www.mswd.org/mswd/page/regional-water-reclamation-facility) is under construction and is scheduled to be fully operational by next year and MSWD most likely will be needing Operators to manage it. This opportunity could potentially turn into a temp-to-hire for the right individual.
